It just works! suitable for hard drive accessories

Works as expected. I would recommend it. And if you also add a power cable so you can use a spinning SATA drive, that's an added benefit.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Volume

Best Hard Drive Accessory

I know this adapter is not common but when you need it, you need it and this one just works. It's elegant and easy to use. I'm not sure what else to say other than that it just works.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great SATA Drive Adapter

This is a great product to convert a SATA drive to an external hard drive. The only problem I have is the data rate. Even when using USB-C, the data transfer rate was under 1MB. So if you have a lot of disk space that needs to be migrated, it may take a while.

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • There are drawbacks

Terrible performance

I used this adapter to connect an SK Hynix Gold S31 (560MB/s) SATAIII (6.0Gb/s) SSD to a Macbook Pro with a Lightning connector (10Gb/s). s) to connect. The theoretical maximum speed should be around 560 MB/s. With this adapter, I got 39MB/s reading and 33MB/s writing on CrystalDiskMark. It's starting to hurt. Conclusion: This inexpensive adapter offers terrible performance. Why connect a fast USB3 port on your computer to an adapter when it can only support USB2 speed?

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous
