My daughter loves this dress. It's a heavier material, similar to spandex. She wears shirts or leggings underneath because the slit is higher than we thought. It tends to be tight but overall is a great play dress.

My daughter loves The Descendants and wanted this dress to be for Halloween. I surprised her with this early on and she wore it around the house whenever she got the chance. Fits great and she is more than happy with it.

Mel's dress was perfect. I followed the size chart and the dress fit perfectly. My 5 year old daughter is 50 pounds and I bought her a 120. She is a bit tall for her age and the length was just right. Best of all, this material is lightweight, stretchy, and comfortable.

Bought for my 7 year old daughter for Disney dress up day. It looks really cute on her and now she wears it like a regular dress all the time. I like that it's shorter in the front and longer in the back. It's a fairly thin polyester material, but it washes well and holds up fairly well to repeated use.

Now that I've washed it a few times the color has faded a bit but the stitching is holding up pretty well. I gave 3 stars instead of 4 because the fabric is very thin and will tear if caught on something.

My daughter has been obsessed with The Descendants for 3 years. That means she's been dressing like Mel for the last 3 years. Rzhunimagu! This dress was economical compared to others we looked at. Also, it appeared to be a slightly thicker material. She was wearing clothes underneath, but that was because of the 30 degree temperature. The material is silky and slightly stretchy. I am very happy with our purchase!

Very stretchy and soft. The front is a little short, but shorts or pants will hide it! The smaller size is best for a smaller child, my daughter's friend who is a few inches shorter fits this size better than my daughter, although it fit her perfectly but was too short in the front so we went up a size . a little looser but longer where we needed it. My daughter usually wears a 6/7, she is tall and skinny but has wider hips, while her friend is a size 6, skinny but fit and not as wide hips.

So this gets 5 stars because it's exactly as pictured and comfortable for my child. I only gave it 3 stars because the front is so short she couldn't wear it in public without leggings. I ordered a size towards the top of their size range and it fits great except the front is too short. Maybe I didn't read closely enough, but I expected the front to be a bit longer. She is not a very big child and not long-legged. She is medium height for her dress size and age group.
