The product is very well made and easy to use. However, it does get very hot, making it a bit difficult to get out hot coffee grounds and brew another pot. The recommended coffee sizes make for a fairly weak coffee, so keep that in mind. It also had a chemical smell so I ran it a few times with a vinegar mixture and it took care of that.

This coffee maker is large, bulky, heavy and inconvenient to use. It also took about 10-12 infusions before the coffee actually tasted like coffee without that "metallic taste". It's very inconvenient to pour from the sink due to its size etc, but thank goodness I have a swan neck faucet with a pop up sprayer. It seems that 12-18 cup coffee makers are very hard to find. It is also difficult to fill a large mug or coffee cup with this type of spout. I would not buy this product again.

This coffee pot is larger than my old one because it's double walled, but still fits easily in my sink. I love its style and looks and the fact that it feels cool outside. I get up very early in the morning so I hook it up to a timer to brew at 2:30 at night so everything is brewed when I get up.
