This waffle iron is not bad. Just. OK. My biggest complaint about this, and it's not a very big complaint, is that the waffle maker doesn't stay straight when you flip it. This is a real deal and it's under $60. A trip to a nice breakfast buffet got me an actual waffle maker. I wanted one that rotates but is simple and doesn't take up much space. I made the choice and couldn't be happier. It heats up quickly and only takes a few minutes and a twist to evenly bake waffles. This thing failed. No matter how much waffle batter we put in there, it spilled out everywhere. We put so little in it that it was barely a waffle with holes all over it and it was still running down the sides. It also does not stick to the plate included in the kit. It drips randomly onto the outside of the silver waffle iron and runs down to the handle and the back of the front support. It is impossible to clean up this mess.
