Perfect for learning to cut

I ordered these for my four year old daughter to teach her how to cut. She is left-handed and feels good in the hand. I like that the tip isn't too sharp for safety reasons, but it's also not too blunt like other children's scissors that make it difficult to work with. Excellent purchase.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Very expensive

a smaller version of a decent adult pair of scissors!

very sharp! I know a lot of people want blunter, duller scissors for kids, but I remember being frustrated with lousy scissors as a kid. My own needs would be better met (as well as my self-esteem and sense of ability) if I had these - a smaller version of decent adult scissors!

Pros
  • cutting tools
Cons
  • so far so good

Great for toddlers to learn to cut!

I bought them for my 2 year old child, supervised of course. They fit his hands because he can hold them well and work well. He loves to use them and often asks to "cut", we use scrap paper for practice. Now we've got to the point where he asks me to draw a character while he's trying to crop the character :) I think in just a few months this is a big step forward, especially for his age, he's just 3 years old.

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
