Just because they can be held in either hand doesn't make them left-handed, the blades aren't properly left-handed. False advertising and I bought this specifically for my left handed daughter.

I thought I'd buy left-handed scissors. These are not left handed scissors. This suggests it will work for both, but the only reason to buy left-handed scissors is where the blade is located. These scissors have a right blade position. Can't have a pair of scissors for both!

Don't think these scissors are really left-handed. The handles can be shaped to fit either hand, but in order for them to be truly left-handed scissors, the blades must be reversed. It is physically impossible to make double-ended scissors. Hold the scissors open in front of you, the blade away from you and a handle in each hand.
