I don't know how these other reviewers can rate this product so highly. It is extremely poorly made. After opening the box, the round shape of the lampshade became more oval. I bought seven (7) of these lights - one for each bedroom in our house and hallway. As soon as I opened the first package I was disappointed. The lamp was smaller than I thought it would be and the shade wasn't white or cream, but more of a beige or yellow. It wasn't what I wanted. I went ahead and hung one and was beyond disappointed. It seemed small for the size of the room. The sides of the lampshade are not vertical, but sloping. When I turned on the light, the screen turned even browner…
