I bought this light to illuminate a cave shower which is inherently poorly lit. I expected this product to be a dim bulb. When he arrived he certainly looked frail. Boy was I wrong. The light is fantastic and really bright. I'm glad I turned on the dimmer as most evenings I need a softer light when showering. The attached photos show the light when it is bright and dim in the evening after sunset when no other light is on in my bathroom.

Standard switch, no dimmer. From the start this light flickers. It initially flickers for a few seconds on startup but then eventually settles into a steady state. Then it flickers longer (one minute). Now it flickers on startup and is mostly random. THE WHOLE TIME. Suitable for a strobe and no more. Tried to contact support. Light part is OK. But the lantern uses two rivets to attach the lantern to the bracket. Of the five lamps ordered, two had this defect and were replaced.
