I bought this in 2017. I like to wait and use my products before writing honest reviews about them. This product is reliable and worth the investment. At first I was apprehensive about buying this because some reviewers said the wires would break. I haven't had these problems before and my family has used it a lot to make egg salad.

As it is made in Germany and recommended by Revain I thought it would be a quality product. The hinge is not well aligned and the wires can fall onto the top of the base instead of into the open grooves. This can cause the wires to break. ATTENTION when buying. I will choose another manufacturer for my purchases in the future.

I bought this egg cutter to replace my Pampered Chef egg cutter. Westmark manufactures its products in Germany. I love that Westmark made this item from cast aluminum, it's sturdy and comes with a five year guarantee. It's dishwasher safe and the wires are taut so it cuts smoothly. I like crossed eggs.

In love with this article from the first use! I chop LOTS of eggs and mushrooms. My husband was helping in the kitchen one night and somehow broke two wires. My heart has been broken. I contacted the company and they responded quickly and with FIRST service. Now I'm back in business and the new slicer is perfect. I would recommend this company anytime!

My family uses it to cut eggs, strawberries and mushrooms. We use it 1 to 4 times a week and throw it in the top rack of the dishwasher each time. I bought it in June 2011 and it still looks and works like new. The wires are formed and easily cut products. This slicer was more expensive than others on the market, but the combination of good reviews and Made in Germany convinced me to give it a try. Seven years later, I think it's worth it!

, I really wanted a product that cuts mushrooms. Despite their claims, this is not the case. I had two and both broke the first time I tried to cook regular brown mushrooms. Cut the wire. The company's support team is ok if you can contact them, but they don't list any contact information on their website! Basically, this all-steel, high-performance model can slice eggs for $20. I didn't realize how badly I needed this until I bought it. This makes preparing egg salad and adding sliced eggs to salads much easier with little to no fuss. It's big enough that I can "double cut" the eggs by slicing them lengthwise once, then flipping them over and doing it again. I've had it for a few months now and I've learned to cut quickly and haven't broken a single wire at all.
