Industrial and Scientific enthusiasts can't go wrong with these router bits. The cut quality is precise and leaves little to no tear-out. These bits are a must-have for any woodworking or DIY project that requires straight cuts. The only downside is the price can be a bit steep compared to other router bits in the market. Overall, a great investment for any serious woodworker.
Pros
Produces clean and accurate straight cuts on various woodworking projects
Cons
Not suitable for creating intricate designs or curved shapes
I have used Whiteside Bits for years and would not buy anything else. Steps above the cheaper brands and better than anything from Rockler, Freud or other more expensive brands. Don't abuse them, keep them clean and they will serve you for years.
I do a lot of milling and have used pretty much every brand. Without a doubt Whiteside bits are the best, as you can see from the cut quality and regrind times, in my experience they last 2-4 times longer than the next top brands. High quality carbide and lots of it, and the cost is comparable (or lower) to other good brands.
Pros
Precision ground for the right balance at high RPM
