If you think you need it, buy it.

I tried some cheap patterned and flush bits to cut some ipΓ© that I'm using for a dining table project. The IpΓ© is extremely hard and everything else, the jigsaw blade and hand saw I've used, has failed miserably. This piece cuts through the ipe like butter. Left an amazing finish and worked equally well from the first cut to the last. I never thought I would spend so much money on a router but oh my god I'm glad I did. It literally saved my project. Not Safe in a Portable Router

After 30 seconds of use, it quickly became apparent that this bit is completely unsafe when used in a portable router. This would be fine on a CNC router, but it's too aggressive to control on a handheld router. Twitching and twitching uncontrollably. After ruining a project I had put hours into, I tried to save it by switching to the Amana bit, but I couldn't. I'm not new to template routing, I've completed several hundred projects over the years without these types of issues. Be very careful…
