Too fragile. Send back.

I wish I could find a replacement for my old fashioned plastic shoe rack that will last for years! This is for small shoes, not athletic shoes and golf shoes that need them in my hallway closet. It's not reliable at all, which is what I need, but I don't want to spend $50 on something big and clumsy. Also, the strut will not be pushed into the anti-roll bar, so it will fall apart. piss off! i give it back

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to say

I would not recommend this product

I would not recommend this product. It is easy to assemble and only takes a few minutes. As long as it stays intact. Its construction is very flimsy and the stand wobbles when touched lightly. It cannot support the weight of many pairs of shoes (by that I mean more than one) and is designed for slip-on shoes with a small heel, which reduces its effectiveness.

Pros
  • Keep my fists
Cons
  • Reliability

Overall I'm satisfied as it serves as an organizer for my shoes

I received this product in brand new packaging. When I opened it up there was an open plastic bag that was supposed to have little foot protectors to put under each of the four legs of the shoe rack. There was only one, so I just pulled a shelf with no leg armor out of my carpeted closet. The frame is larger than I expected and fits snugly in men's shoes. Most women fit well. Overall I'm satisfied as it acts as an organization for my shoes.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

This was one of the few floor stands I could find to organize my shoes around the office. I liked it for its simplicity and low cost. It was exactly what I was looking for. When I started putting my shoes on the stand I really had to squeeze them together to make them fit. (By the way, most of my shoes are a size 10, so that's not SHREK.) I found it best to basically have 6 sets of shoes and leave a little space between them. I will say don't lift it once you install it as the posts will come…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works with minor modification

Updated 5/29/2013. I've had this product for a few months now and it's starting to fall apart. Almost all brackets and legs are now deformed and Gorilla Glue no longer solves the problem. The product still works as a shoe holder, it's a bit frustrating that it can't hold together. Changed from 3 stars to 2 stars. For the price I would say it's 4 or 5 stars but I had to make an alteration to keep the front holder upright. I've had the rack for about a month now and have had to use Gorilla Glue…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
