Whitmor Shelf Closet System Adjustable Review

I had a rotating shoe rack that tilted to one side when full and it was ugly. I prefer to keep my shoes off the floor, which is why this nifty adjustable closet maximizer hooked up a closet in my apartment.

Okay, shelves. Generally not intended for storing a large amount of clothes as the shelves constantly slide out on one side. However, at times he bears the weight of a fat, inquisitive cat who likes to hide in my closet from time to time. But I do not recommend for intensive storage.

I like this product very much. Even this one doesn't fit in my closet, I decided to cut them all out and fit it in my closet. Finally came. I'm happy, my shoes are happy. Does the job and isn't too difficult to install. The shelves don't have enough depth to be really great - my sweatpants keep sliding onto the floor. It doesn't help that it has a slippery surface. This works for things that fold easily into short squares, but for pants that typically fold into a longer shape, the lack of depth makes them a little unwieldy.

At first it seemed like a great buy but I have found that I had to rearrange the shelves a lot and over time they have held up. less and less together. I didn't even put much on each shelf. Eventually the plastic rings holding the racks in place became so loose that I just gave up. This could work if gravity wasn't an issue. Great idea, but unfortunately not implemented.

I do a lot of DIY and build small furniture all the time, but assembling it was a nightmare. The instructions aren't great, but I finally figured them out. However, it turned out to be very thin. You have to attach it to a rod in the closet, which to be honest I didn't understand. It may well be me; Maybe I didn't read the description carefully enough. Excellent shelves for any closet. We put it in a closet to use for board games and it works great. It was easy to set up and very adjustable. It comes with 6 shelves but you don't have to use them all and you can also adjust the height for each individual shelf. This is a very versatile system. Be sure to fasten each shelf tightly because if they are loose they may start to slide due to too much weight. I love this thing. After reading the reviews I was concerned about the shelves shifting but I tightened them properly and they seem to be working fine. I test them in heavy pots first - just make sure my plants don't fall to the bottom. Easy to assemble - even if you don't read the instructions I recommend you do so so you don't accidentally tighten the screws upside down. Also have a leveling tool to keep the shelves straight.
