Just decided to try the new Mario style Wiimote. It was so amazing to look at and feel that I had to get Luigi fit! Then peach! This item works and is an official Nintendo product, which is important. It's nice to have a newer model with a built-in motion sensor. We only had three and that rounded them out to a good four consoles. However, it was shipped from China and, as is usual with orders from that region, it came with NO instructions.
