Great product, terrible price.

I used to buy this for $25 each and wanted to buy more. They're now $35 a unit on Revain. Academy Sports sells them for $25 each. I don't think I will use Revain. Good premium of 40%. I have 4 of these. Has been working flawlessly for over a year. I would give 5 stars if the price was reasonable.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Lived for several years and still goes.

I have these panels on all my gaming cams and they have worked flawlessly for years. I immediately replaced the alligator clips and put the reed clips on the battery connector. My battery capacity is 99% during the winter months when it's the hardest on the batteries.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Bad experience

Great for wildlife feeders

I bought this for a wildlife feeder that uses a 12v NiCAD battery to power the electronic timer and 12v spinner motor. The ends of the cable are a little fiddly to manipulate, but they do a good job of protecting the wire from critters and inclement weather. It easily withstands the wild weather of Texas. I run them on all my feeders.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Having trouble

Quality after two and a half years.

I bought this solar panel two and a half years ago! i still love it Mounted on a self-propelled mower that is left outdoors all year round. This bar keeps the starter battery charged and I haven't had a dead battery since. Heck, I've never had a lawnmower battery that lasted so long. It's waterproof. I bet the solar panel has already paid for itself twice.

Pros
  • Solar panel
Cons
  • Weight

Not suitable for charging a small 12V 7A motorcycle battery

Not suitable for charging a small 12V 7A motorcycle battery Had to switch to a wired charger to charge the to keep the battery at the correct voltage. I used it for a backyard chicken coop with a charger to service the battery. The battery only ran to the 12V linear drive twice a day for a minute each time, again this solar charger is totally inadequate for the task.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn and Garden
Cons
  • I will be silent

Nice, but underpowered to be useful.

Great product and it came quickly so good. For me there is too little energy to be used. I seem to have measured the short circuit current and found it to be 0.046A (46mA) when experimenting with it. I was hoping to use this to power an AA charger with a 12V input, but it wasn't powerful enough to even power the charging circuitry. I would only recommend buying this if you have very low power requirements (e.g. to prevent draining a battery with absolutely no load connected to it). Although it…

Pros
  • Solar and wind energy
Cons
  • Not everything fits
