Bright shiny chrome paint, boo!

I love these coasters but they shipped the light chrome versions instead of the dark ones shown in the picture. Well I think I'll paint.

small and works great

I saw the bike shop I go to to use these but they didn't sell them. You are super cute! I have an edge stand for my 29" tires. Now I can store my bike without leaning it!

Cons
  • Minor issues

Cool, stable and very useful

Awesome! Mine is for personal use (garage/workspace) and is very compact, unobtrusive and sturdy. Much easier than pulling out a desk for each adjustment, cleaning, etc. I saw them at Yuba Expeditions in Downeyville and they put me in contact with the name of the manufacturer (Willworx). I use it with an enduro sized mountain bike (29" wheels with 2.4" tires)

Pros
  • A pleasure
Cons
  • Can't remember

great stand. Bolts together

I bought two of these from REI but they were welded together while this one had to be assembled with bolts/nuts. I was worried it wouldn't be as stiff as the welded version but so far it seems just as solid and works great. I now have four of these, all bolted at a 45 degree angle to a 2 x 8 foot piece of treated plywood, making a great garage bike rack.

  • Confident

High quality product

Where the tubes met at right angles there were notches on the ends of the tubes. This not only looks good, but also strengthens the connection and makes it easier to assemble the product. All the bolts/screws were long so I didn't have to look for short screws like I've seen on other products. By using buttons on the vertical U-profile, the frame can be partially dismantled for storage or transport. Great product!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • So far so good

never mind suitable for cycling

A few details: 1) The #5 metric screw hole nut threads were damaged and I had to buy a faucet to clean them (was cheaper than sending it in for a replacement). Otherwise everything went well. 2) We have a large 45 pound Cannondale tandem and this stand can tip over a bit if the bike hits the stand. For a single it's ok. 3) Level - the instructions say all the screws should be loosened until they are on a level surface and then tighten - this worked fairly well but not perfectly. and you hit it…

The product arrived defective. Note the lack of a pin on the right side.

Two stands ordered. I thought it was the same super stand we ordered for our mountain bikes. They had to be twisted together. They work reasonably well with our road bikes but had to add foam pads on each side. One of the two racks has failed. It was missing a tongue that pushes in on one side to keep the top in place. See photo. I had to move the plastic pin to lock it. Seems to be Superstand Extreme, which is what we previously ordered. They come in two parts, fold together and get stronger…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Requires base

Fits 29 x 2.4 " wheel

Does the job. Easily fits 29" 2.4" tires. There is some rubbing on the 2.5" Maxxis DHF but it still works. Need a different bike stand and have had the same model for years. Not the best brand but does the job. Took off the sticker. This looks mismatched Space out. Will paint them in the future. Some of the screws/holes were a bit misplaced but they fit perfectly and hey this isn't a Swiss watch. Tip: don't tighten individual screws when reassembling. Install them all and then tighten Also…

Get welded version

I bought the Bike Super Stand just after I got the WillWorx Fat Bike Stand. I am happy with the Fat Bike but less happy with the Super Stand due to quality issues. Threaded Inserts/Protrusions not perpendicular to mating surfaces. This was most evident on the short cross tube. After assembling all the parts with loose screws and placing the stand on a flat workbench, I tightened all the screws. Due to the poor fit, the stand warped to the point where one leg was pulled off the bench by almost…
