🍰 Wilton Performance Pans Medium Aluminum Sheet Cake Pan, 11 x 15-Inch Review

Wobbly, doesn't hold it's shape just looking for something else and came across this one which I bought many years ago, a good size but lost its shape even if it was brand new. Sorry I won't buy this again.

This frying pan has served its purpose. It cooked evenly without having to bake the nails in the middle. It was an easy pan release, but I use Bake Easy Wilton. The pan was very easy to clean. I'm happy with that.

If you're looking for a tray for the occasional cake making then this might be acceptable. Pros: Uncoated aluminum, perfect dimensions and depth for a sheet cake. , dishwasher safe, made in China

Really nice baking tray. I've used it a few times and it looks brand new (and I'm not a loofah obsessive 😋). I haven't had any issues with uneven heat distribution at all, it's easy to clean and has a nice weight. I highly recommend this pan.

My old stock wore out after 35 years, started digging, bought this one as a replacement. I've tried others, one was Scandinavian cookware, the other had a darker non-stick coating, both were too heavy compared to my old one and the muffins were always overcooked. It's perfect. The sides are high enough for most things, the cake came out easily and baked evenly. I can recommend it to anyone who bakes!

I bought these for my sister. She has three kids who have birthdays in the summer so they always ask her to make an ice cream cake for their parties. This pan is great because it cooks brownies well on the bottom but is deep enough for ice cream and toppings. It's not a non-stick pan, so it can cut through frozen treats and add a little flavor to the pan without ruining the whole pan. It is very durable and can withstand any load.

HOWEVER, my cake tin finally arrived for my daughter's birthday. it had dents and scratches. It's clear it's been dropped multiple times and brought back by someone else. So I had 24 hours until my daughter's birthday and had no choice but to use a dented cake pan that left dents all over the cake so I had to change the fondant frosting to regular to fill in the holes and make the cake smoother make. Extremely disappointed

Not as durable or as good at heat distribution as more expensive and heavier pans, they are heavy enough to be functional and strong but light enough be affordable at a very reasonable price. If you need multiple pans (not necessarily for the main pan, but to have more than one pan on hand) I would recommend these. They will certainly withstand a fair amount of use, and the price makes them attractive.

I am amazed at the poor quality of this pan. I bought this in October 2019 to bake a cake that needed a large pan. I put it in foil and there were no complaints. I made this cake again in December 2019 by lining a baking sheet with foil before using. Today was my third time taking the pan out and noticing tiny holes in the corner and rim of the pan.
