Browns come out much quicker than many others

I bought these for brownies that I make myself. Does what you would expect EXCEPT it browns them a lot quicker than the aluminum I replaced with this one. I had to cut the cooking time by almost ten minutes.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

I've been using them for a few months now and still love them! Love the lid so I don't have to take the brownies/cakes out of the pan to store! I also use pots for cooking dinner and they are good for that too. I definitely recommend this set!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • So so

Very durable and perfect for the home baker

I really liked that this two pack is EXTREMELY durable. It's as if each pan had a second attached to make it stronger. Lids fit well and work best after the pan has cooled. The product is as described and my family loves to eat cakes in this pan! (Most packaged brownies call for 9x9 or 8x8!) I can say these pans will last!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Upgrades

Excellent non-stick material but rusts after 2 washes!

The nonstick pans are really good and the lids are great. Easy to clean. BUT after only hand washing them 2 times in hot soapy water to keep them from rusting in the dishwasher we have already found some rust on the bottom edge! Too bad that's the only complaint I have about it, but it's a big deal. I've bought these for ages and will have to buy others after pan roasting. I could spend a little more and get something that lasts longer.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • unreliable

Very good pans, but when external dimensions matter

These are very good pans. Sturdy, solid, with beautiful covers. Keep in mind that the outside dimensions are actually 10 1/2 x 9 7/8. This may not sound like much, but I have a Panasonic Flashxpress and the largest bowl that will fit in it is 9 3/4 x 9 3/4. This is my fault and I should have realized the flange was too big. I buy 8x8's to make sure the pan will fit and not go back as they are very good and I'm sure I will use them in my regular oven.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Easy chocolate cake.

Favorite hat! I use a 9x9 pan when recipes call for 8x8. A friend gave me her mom's chocolate cake recipe and another friend said it was one of the best chocolate cakes. This friend graduated from Hyde Park Culinary Institute and I'm sure he's using the right size pot. So buy. The second pan along with the recipe will be a Christmas present for my 14 year old grandson. He's going to be a real baker! Every time you learn a new skill. The perfect tool ensures success!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Modern

Each pan is double

They are nice and strong because each pan is actually a double pan - 2 pans securely fastened together. The only downside is that there is a groove at the top of the pans where 2 pans meet. I haven't baked with it yet, but I think I need to soak the molds immediately after use to keep batter, batter, etc. from getting stuck in those grooves. I may also need to use a groove cleaning brush. I almost sent them back but they are really strong as are the lids - not flimsy lids that can break after a
