They are thicker than I expected; which is .

They are thicker than I expected; which is a plus. So far they are working as expected. 12 was more than I needed, but since they cost the same as individual plastic handles, I couldn't turn down the deal.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not made as before

I bought it because I work in a restaurant and I'll have half of it done in a few months. They bend when you remove the core of a tomato and then break in half as they need to be bent back. They're definitely not made the way they used to be. Now I have to start looking for stronger ones that will last.

Pros
  • Everything seems to be so far
Cons
  • The list is long.

Don't waste extra money when shopping from restaurant suppliers!

Great solution for restaurants! Employees often lose them by throwing them away or whatever they do! Today it is the cheapest solution. They come quickly, on time and leave several times. The product is sharp, easy to clean and the price is great if you need to replace it!

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Shortcomings

Works with strawberries too. 🍓 🍅

I have 1 tomato 🍅 🍅 Peeler and children keep losing it. I decided to buy this multipack when I have people who can can the tomatoes 🍅 we can all use one. I also donated some of these to use in my own kitchen. To be honest it's more used on strawberries than tomatoes because my kids love to grab them and use them on strawberries.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Negative impression

Leaves more fruit to enjoy

I've tried other tomato and/or strawberry peeling machines but they seem to peel too much fruit, especially strawberries. They are similar to the ones I've used in cooking. You remove the stalk, leaving more of the core for your enjoyment. They seem a little flimsy, but tomatoes and strawberries are relatively soft fruits, so I don't even bother bending these babies. The edges of the handle are a bit sharp, but that's not a big deal.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • No form required

How did I survive without her?

Wow, this little tool makes peeling strawberries a breeze, much better than my other strawberry peelers. When it comes to tomatoes, it depends on how ripe they are. Ripe tomatoes crackle, green or yellowed ones near the core are a bit harder, but with a little effort the product works. I had to pierce the tomato around the core then the plunging motion worked. Consider using a melon ball tool, which is also good for making small balls. I'm very happy with it, but like anything else, press too…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Very expensive

Slightly surprised, good for corers

I bought this because it looked exactly like the ones we used as the restaurant I worked at in high school and college. The tips on the cutting head are very sharp, but oddly there were no edges, and instead of carefully slicing the stem off the tomato, she seemed to rip it out. I was expecting it to take just a slight twist of the wrist to remove the stem/pit from a tomato, but apparently that requires a commercial version of this thing. It works pretty well though, just be careful if the…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
