Cool for cold weather

My 5 year old son was confused when I tried to explain what a balaclava is but when it arrived and I pulled it over his head he thought it was the best thing ever! I love that it can be tightened and will keep your chin/mouth/neck warm in very cold weather without being a scarf. Fits him perfectly (42in, 43#, huge head) but not sure if it will fit bigger or smaller kids due to mouth mask placement.

Pros
  • Very handy for my 6 year old when skiing without a helmet or just for a winter hike! Defiantly sweet and warm.
Cons
  • The cap is not machine washable, making cleaning difficult.

Too small and tight

Had to return. Very small and cramped. I didn't like the fabric either, it was rough and scratchy. Sizing is for babies or toddlers only, does not fit my older girls.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Only available in white

Cable not that useful

Too big for my 6 year old. Pulling the laces at the side looks ridiculous. Badly designed. I would have sent it back but I've already washed it and written his name on it.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive

Warm and cuddly: Girls

Bought for grandchildren and great-grandchildren, never heard of Caps. We live in Southeast Texas and the weather isn't very cold so not sure if they were wearing hats. I like them and they are really nice and warm.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Many things

Excellent windproof hat

I got it for my 6 year old daughter. We've only used it once but she loves it. The material is soft and she loves that there is an option to wear it like the picture by sliding the mouth cover down and sliding the cap down to just cover the neck. Her head was warm from him. It was easy to wash and I hung it out to dry in case it shrunk.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Interesting product for accessories

Ordered this for my 3 year old boy in blue and orange. Looks like a big but. We can do it, we have a very windy late winter and I think it will work. The concern was obvious that it doesn't cover the forehead, but if we tighten the strap it will fall off. In case you wear it when the weather calls for it, this is a nice, cute hat.

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • So far so good

Too big for a 5 year old, perfect for a mother

Too big for a 5 year old. Not a perfect fit as stated in the description for ages 3-11. Insufficient page description. It's perfect for mom. But I didn't buy for my mother. I bought for my 5 year old girl to wear to school during recess. Very disappointed. After seeing other people's reviews, I bought it, but the size is too big. Even we fit tightly with the included thong. It's completely out of her head.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Clarity

Good product, I would buy again.

Good product! Got this as part of a lite deal for my 4.5 year old. She has a normal to above average head size, but nothing insanely big ha, and it suits her very well. Good switches make us tighten it. There is room to grow, but I wouldn't say too much. It's great because it covers her entire neck and head and most of her face. It's much easier to manage than a scarf. Not sure why some reviews say it's huge. Maybe they just have a smaller head. Definitely think that having an average age of 4…

Great well designed balaclava for young kids

Like any fleece it removes static electricity and tangles hair but we expected it. I didn't expect super thick, warm fleece, comfortable cut and size and great design! There are separate straps for the outer hood and chin piece and my daughter says it's very warm. He braved the arctic winds on the bow of a moving whale watch boat off the coast of Canada in September when all the adults were completely frozen and hiding with deaf ears in all the layers we had, but my daughter's face was…

It stays on! best in cold weather

So my son refuses to wear a hood on any of his jackets - obviously lava. But that! He is almost 2 years old and after an initial electrocution on his head he decided he liked it. This naturally gives him something to chew on, like the part that sits just above his mouth. He wears it though, it keeps him warm and protected from harsh winds without constricting. We liked it so much that the rest of the adults in the family ordered them (appropriate sizes of course, so another list). All in all a…
