Just what I needed for my Winegard

I couldn't believe I found this part. My old Winegard antenna became brittle and broke so you'll need to check from time to time to make sure your antenna isn't damaged. !

Too short for screw connectors

Designed for crimp connectors. When using threaded twist-ons, do not push deep enough to cover the entire connection. The pivot stem interferes with the small opening before the shoe is fully locked. It would be helpful if the seller mentioned this.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Almost never

Exactly what you are looking for, a few bucks more.

If you are looking for a new Winegard antenna cable housing then you have it here. Good luck finding it cheap. I'm sure you can find something that works for less ($3 seems fair) and if you do let everyone know. Since that's what you want, it's hard to complain too much, but for $7 I will.

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Can't remember

An exact replacement for the originals.

They worked fine with my RV TV antenna cables. While resealing the antenna mount, I replaced the dust boots and also put some caulk on top, just for peace of mind. Hope the roof isn't leaking anymore. I had to cut off the cable connector on one end to attach them. Get ready with a new cable connector and the right installation tools.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good boots to replace 25 year old boots.

These are a direct replacement for the old Winegard boots that were showing their age after 25 years of service. I also bought a new antenna cable but I had to remove one end to install the covers, for some reason they didn't come with the new cable. Glad I bought a new tool to change the ends of the coax cable. I would highly recommend these boots if needed.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad

Works exactly as advertised.

Our original boot showed the first signs of hardening after about 5 years. This replacement is perfect. I hope it lasts 5 years too.. Installation Tips: Let the sun warm up and it will become flexible enough to slip over the coax end fitting so there is no need to cut the fitting for installation. After installation, apply some Dicor sealant to the cable entry to ensure there are no leaks.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Cleanliness
