Overall a good bead toy for beginners. I have to say I was a little disappointed to find that some of the beads were plastic. The beads along the green wire (pictured) are lightweight plastic. I consider Hape to be a relatively high-quality brand and consciously lean towards their wooden toys to get away from plastic. Spring. This is a minor issue and in no way affects my daughter's enjoyment of the toy. Just wanted to share if anyone else is interested.

Simple, colorful and fun for an 18 month old baby and it was a real hit at Christmas. The small yellow beads are placed in the green round beads and twisted happily. The baby will also like the loop. There are suction cups on the bottom. They are only useful on hard surfaces and do not work on carpets. But the product is strong enough to stand on its own without suction cups, so it wasn't that heavy. On the label: Made in Germany.

I bought this for a high chair hoping she wouldn't be able to push it on the floor. Unfortunately, she quickly learned to take it off and throw it to the ground. I ended up using a large piece of tape to attach it to the high chair so if it falls it doesn't fall back onto the floor. A minor complaint: the beads on the smaller green bar are not wooden like those on the larger red bar. I'm not sure why they didn't use the same wooden beads for the whole toy.

It's amazing! It's the perfect size for our 5 month use when dangling in her rollator or pretty much anywhere I put her. We have a larger version of this toy for when she gets much older, but this is the perfect size to help her develop fine motor skills before she can even sit or stand on her own. My daughter loves playing with this toy in her high chair (and out of the high chair too!). Like all Hape toys we've purchased, this one is well made and well researched to withstand infant and toddler play. My oldest daughter had this toy from Melissa and Doug and we had to throw it away because the paint was peeling. We have had this toy for 2 months now and it shows no signs of paint wear or chipping, it still looks new. Also, it sticks well to the high chair and is better than other suction
