I ordered 2 pieces for melting wax at very low temperature. The bottom rivet allows any liquid to drain out of the container. As the blocks have been waxed I cannot return them in new condition.

Improved for the intended purpose of pumping hot water from the boiler to other dishes, the glass was not wanted as there was a risk of breakage. As I said, it's made out of fairly thick metal and if I drop it for any reason I don't think it's going to bend.

great but leaking which is a serious problem when you fill it with oil. or sauce. or something liquid! very annoying and quite difficult to clean. The handle also gets very hot when placed on the stove. I haven't washed in the dishwasher but I'm sure it will

I bought this to use as part of my brew kit. That works great. I dip it into Star San with no problem. I wash it in the dishwasher with no problems. In hindsight I probably would have preferred a larger size but other than that it's perfect for what it is. Tom from New Jersey.

Filled with water as soon as I took it out of the box. At first I thought it was good, but after about 20 minutes it started leaking under the bottom handle rivet. After several uses, it will start dripping after about 2 minutes. No point in sending it back as I believe they will all expire. If you happen to get one that doesn't leak, I think it will leak in the future as the rivet comes loose with use. It's a shame as it's sturdy and very durable in my opinion.
