Connection to the controller often drops for about 3-5 seconds. Also, I have to physically remove and then plug in the adapter to connect it to the controller.

This adapter not only didn't work at all, it got dangerously hot and smelled like a burning plastic factory. I think I'll just spend the extra $10 to get one that won't set my computer on fire.

Complete garbage adapter, I have it in my computer less than 5 feet from where I sit and it keeps disconnecting about 3 times in 10 minutes. With my old 360 controllers, I had a crappy Chinese adapter that worked seamlessly on the opposite side of my house. Really disappointing.

Very simple, easy to use. Just plug it into the USB port on the front of the console and plug in a wireless headset - I have the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2, so after turning on the Xbox Series X and logging in, I just press the connect button. on the headset and it connected in just a few seconds. Highly recommended.

Here it is next to the Xbox for Windows adapter. Small is the product I received. I use keyboard accessories so an adapter is a must. The "for Windows 10" version has always been better, and when I wanted to play, as opposed to the older, larger version that has to re-sync half the time. I hope this "non-Microsoft" version proves just as reliable. So far it has been plug and play.

If you buy this adapter to run Elite/Xbox controller on PC. look no further. works absolutely flawlessly, lags are minimal. Obviously not as good as a wired connection, but pretty good as far as I can tell. The adapter works every time I turn it on and I haven't had any problems so far. I've tried some other cheaper ones and they work great for about a month. then they start falling apart and are basically useless.
