it just works best in laptop accessories

Works well with my Lenovo X1 Carbon (5th Gen I think). I've had issues with other USB-C and Thunderbolt 2 hubs on my laptop, except for the expensive Lenovo Thunderbolt 2 hub. But I plugged this one in and it worked without any driver updates or anything. Passing power with my Lenovo-type USB-C charger also works.

Solid construction great combination

great combination of ports i need. HDMI 4K works great, the most convenient part is the ability to charge the Apple Watch. Have a very solid construction, high quality you can count on. I recommend and choose the base you need.

Apple Watch Gen 5 is not charged

This is my second attempt at this product. The first did not stay in charging mode, but turned off and on again every 3-5 seconds. This second one stays in "charging mode", but the battery percentage drops steadily - the charge went from 87% to 81% in about 15 minutes on the charger. Very disappointing. Works like a hub but is overpriced for it.

Glossy finish and maglock Not the best combination

I bought this docking station for general use at home and on the go. It works great on the road. However, at home and in some field situations I would expect the magnetic lock to hold the watch in place when the device is not resting on a table. However, when the dock is tilted or held, the watch slowly slides off the shiny surface of the hub. I wish the indentation wasn't shiny and had a texture like that of an Apple magnetic charger (which works great at these settings). There are no…

Should have bought anchor. Baseus wouldn't turn on after 9 months of sporadic use

The product worked mostly with occasional random shutdowns until the 9th month, then it wouldn't turn on at all. I only bought Baseus because Anker's delivery time was a few weeks longer during the early COVID delays. Next time I'll wait for Anker to deliver a reliable product instead of rushing to get a low quality Baseus.

Did you know that baseus is a brand in China?

I bought many Apple certified cables from Baseus on Taobao (Chinese Ebay). It's nice to see I can buy quality accessories in the US. No questions about this product, very nice. No problems on my MacBook.

Good concept, watch charger doesn't work

The title says it all: It's a good concept, looks better than any of my other USB-C hubs, but the watch charger just doesn't work. I'm sitting here watching the "Charging" screen pop up on my watch and blink once a second and apparently this animation is using a little more power than the charger is actually delivering during these intermittent periods when it's working. If they sat in the dock all night to charge, the watch's battery would drop from 33% to 30%. 27%. Not impressed.

Super handy for traveling

My travel bag of adapters and cables has been a nightmare for a while so I grabbed this charger to see if I could clean up the mess. We usually use our laptops as a charging source, so USB-C was a must. The built in charger for the Apple Watch is great - one less cable, but I *notice* that sometimes it doesn't quite fit properly, meaning it doesn't charge or charges very slowly. I suspect this is because the watch strap needs to be under the device so it can be a bit unstable on impact. But…
