Wireless Charger Infrared Automatic Clamping Car Electronics & Accessories Review

Very few 15w wireless car chargers with cd holder. I sent back another model because it wobbled when moved. I had to use a wrench to tighten the CD mount knob because the knob is small and awkward. The tilt knob doesn't tighten enough, but it seems to work, at least for now.

Works well. It's great to just put the phone next to it and the arms will open automatically. You put your phone in and close your hands. You press the button under your left arm to release it. The power cord connects to the cradle and not to the phone if your phone supports the Qi standard. Remember that the adapter and cable should be compatible with Qi charging speed at the right voltage.

Wireless charging system stopped working after 3.5 months of light use. The clamp function still works (which I thought was going to blow at first) but no longer charges and I've done my best to get this thing working. save your money It keeps your phone in place but won't charge after being exposed to the sun in the garage and lightly used 4-5 times a week.

Love it but like others have said you have to let go of the phone before turning off the car. Luckily, it's just a touch switch and you don't have to press it. I keep mine in landscape mode so I can see the backup indicator and screen below. It seems to hold position well, but it was difficult to get the perfect tension due to the difficulty in getting to the tension knob. Otherwise an excellent product. The real test will be how it handles the summer heat.

Two big problems: First, it hardly fits my Samsung Note 20 Ultra with a very thin body. That would be a deal breaker here. Just as bad, it's so sensitive to movement (or whatever is starting the engine) that it's constantly opening and closing, at least as long as you don't have your phone on it. So excited I can customize the look then I plugged it in and grabbed to open it and when my phone was nearby viola. it opened, i put my phone on it and it squeezed my phone (gently)! As I was about to take it off, it felt my fingers and opened up for me to take. Maybe I'm just being lightly entertained but I had no idea what those features were, I figured it just charges my phone and the rest is manual. Damn cool! I like this product. I'm going to school in the fall and I needed something that didn't have an auction cup because they never work. My CD player doesn't work so this product is perfect for me!
