I bought this tool after buying and using 6" Wixey WR100 digital fractional calipers. Both gauges seem to use the same gauge and indicator and are for their well designed and built for specific applications. The display is fairly large and the numbers are fairly easy to read in most cases. I wish they had a backlit display for a better view, but they are just as good. I hate it since I started using the Wixey standard for my other gauges. I ended up replacing the caliper with a Wixey and it's far superior to other brands.
