As my tests showed, the wooden pepper mill from WMF impresses with its stylish design and practical functionality. It grinds smoothly and evenly, allowing for perfect seasoning every time. However, it could be a bit larger for those who consume a lot of pepper. Overall, it's an excellent addition to any kitchen.

The pepper mill worked well, but then the plastic in the grinding disc broke and it became unusable. And the strings of the salt shaker snapped after I filled it with wet salt and tightened it. This led to me grinding broken glass into food, which I only realized later. I love WMF and expect more from them.

I bought a WMF grinder after using a friend's grinder and was impressed with how much volume it makes per revolution. I used one for black pepper for 3 days and it stopped working. I opened it up and the interface that connects the ceramic grinder to the hex shaft is plastic that splits. Now don't turn where peppercorn resistance is.
