This filter DOES NOT COME WITH HOSES, as it connects directly to existing 1/4" water supply lines. The WD-10K-JG fits all 1/4′′ plastic flex tubing and flexible Copper tubing, used for water supply to ice makers, refrigerators, etc. (1/4” JG also fits the 1/8′′ PEX TUBING as its O.D. is the same as 1/4” tubing.) DOES NOT FIT BRAIDED HOSES.). WQA GOLD SEAL CERTIFIED - to NSF/ANSI 42 for Chlorine, taste, odor and NSF/ANSI 372 for Lead free compliance as verified and substantiated by test data. PFC contamination documentation not available

Product ads describe this as PFC removal. However, no documents were submitted when asked. All I got was another copy of the ad. If it is not classified for PFCs then it is false advertising. The filter was very easy to install, if the PFC documentation is provided I will amend this review.

Works like a dream.

We recently installed a new drinking water faucet as all our water went through a water softener. The water had some "weird" taste issues which is why we bought this filter system. She did exactly what we hoped for. Now the water still has all the minerals we wanted but the taste and everything else is gone! set up and runs like a dream. Unlike others, we had no problems with the water flow. Everything worked the same as before adding the filter, no slowdown at all.

Can't say how great it is

I bought this to fit on a (old) SubZero fridge with water/ice dispenser. I don't drink water, I force myself a lot unless it's very hot or I'm not working. God grant the water has a slight taste or smell, forget it. I live in Riverside, California. And the water is horrible, stinks, tastes disgusting and simply destroys everything with a raid. This is sooooo cool, will probably extend the life of my fridge. The best filtered water I've ever drunk, including bottled water. Can't say enough.

Short life, frequent release of chlorine/minerals

I bought this a year ago. The refrigerator uses a water dispenser. Water supply - fairly "clean" medium-pressure city water. The average usage is about a gallon per day. Very strong chlorine and/or other bad tasting "splashes" (some minerals?) are happening on many days lately. In my opinion, the membrane filters unevenly or there are deposits in some parts of the membrane that regularly come off. So some days it's ok, some days it's not. easy installation. A bit expensive

Easy installation but definitely not high performance. In August they installed a refrigerator in the office, in March the water stopped flowing. Our water is not hard by city standards. Replaced with a cheap, short life filter and the water flow is back. So it turns out that this miracle filter works too well and quickly becomes clogged as a result. So don't believe the 3 year old hype. For $60 each, I could buy almost 10 cheaper filters in bulk, which I'll be replacing at about the same pace.

low pressure! for undercounter and countertop filtration

I installed this built in water filter on my existing fridge water line. the installation was easy. Just cut the water pipe and put it in between. no leaks with included connectors. The water is especially clear and delicious here in Nevada with our hard water. removes the smell of fish. although I also use a water filter from the fridge. So I filter it twice. The only negative, after a few months the water leaves a trickle. Loss of this huge column of water. and it takes another minute to fill

Easy to install and works great!

Easy to install and works as described. I actually installed it on the back of the fridge and it worked fine. I don't have a way to test the filtering, so I'm just assuming it actually does something. A few days after installation, water started dripping from the nozzle. but after using the water dispenser and ice dispenser a few times it stopped and everything seemed fine. I have no complaints. Very easy to install!

We live in an area where the water is pretty uncomfortable. The new Samsung fridge came with a water filter, but a neighbor recommended we install an in-line filter as well. I bought this filter because of numerous complaints. When I received it, I found no documentation in the box of its actual performance (in fact, the filter I received direct from Revain didn't even have the IN and OUT flow arrows, which made me wonder if it was a genuine part at all ). It should be great in the long run since it has an internal water filter.

My new Samsung fridge broke the internal water filter bracket. I think maybe due to using non-Samsung water filters? Instead of an expensive repair, I opted for this external water filter.
