mechanical structure failure; mine has failed. if you listen

Mechanical construction error; mine has failed. If you hear a click and the blades don't move, the belt and pulley cogs are broken. TEAR. You need a new motor and belt, which is about $100 for parts. see image

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Damaged

Thick crusts are best baked in bread makers

This bread maker has many options but EVERY bread I've made, either from premix or hand mixed ingredients, every loaf came out short and tight, self on medium mode the bread turned very dark and barely cut through the crust. I would definitely not recommend this bread maker.

  • Pleasant to use

Even if I just follow the recipe.

Even if I just follow the recipe in the instructions, the bread comes out hard and misshapen. I've tried this machine several times and it never made any bread I could eat. At the moment there is a container with mud from my last attempt in the car. Back to my simple and reliable Welbilt.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Almost OK

This is the second Wolfgang Puck product that I own.

This is the second Wolfgang Puck product I have and it has gone bad. First was a food seal that lasted maybe a year and now my bread maker, which I had barely used, decided to die today. I don't think I'll invest more in Mr. Park's so-called home appliances!

  • There are cons

The closure of the kneading blade is held in place by a small black locking ring. He fell and I looked for him everywhere. I finally found one at the Lumber City Do It Center! Wolfgang Puck's customer service locally sold me a complete bread bin and parts for $35 plus shipping and tax. oh for the 35 cent piece! This has been fixed. every now and then it works great again and I like it again. I had problems with some of Wolfgang Puck's recipes. I found several other recipes for softer bread. I…

I love versatility!

Bought a used car 2 years ago. The previous owner had already replaced a small plug under one of the blades and we had no issues. This machine makes a wonderful loaf of bread and I love its convenience and versatility. (It gets 5 stars for that.) However, the paddles sometimes slip when kneading tough dough, so I don't trust the machine to leave them alone to start the process. Then the design is such that after baking, usually the shoulder blades come loose in the baked bread and I have to…

Yummy bread, annoying machine

This bread maker is cheap, but that might be because it's cheaply made. This works and the bread tastes great, but the baking pan often slips out of the holder when kneading. I don't feel comfortable leaving the machine alone during the first 40 minute kneading cycles because I have to keep pushing the pan back onto the grid. When it slides out it makes an awful noise and would probably shake itself off the table if I wasn't standing by to slide it back in. However, once the kneading cycles are
