Some basic electrical stuff.

It took some time to understand the instructions. I had basic modifications to work with my lawn tractor and it worked perfectly. Sounds really good. When I tested it, it woke up a few neighbors, but that's okay. The yellow wire is slightly twisted. It didn't exist. Passed 30 on baht, 85 on button, 86 jump on 30 and 87 on klaxon, 2 lands and visible connection on 30 on battery. thanks

Pros
  • Easy to attach with two screws
Cons
  • Security

Looks great on my MX 5 Dash

The horn button on my 2013 MX 5 decided to die for me. To replace the standard button, the steering wheel and airbag had to be removed. I checked with the Mazda dealer about the cost of a new airbag in case my one blew up. CND replacement cost of $700. This surface mount button was very easy to install on the Miata dash and a little rewiring of the existing horn button power supply sufficed. Now my air horn is back in business.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

All inclusive! best replacement parts

works great. That's all you need to bypass your horn. Look at the back of the box - use the car's built-in relay and fuse. For example see photos: I cut the wire after finding the right length. A wire goes to a relay in the engine fuse box. The other I wrapped around a nice stud on the side panel fuse box for grounding - this is important if you have bad ground, the horn won't work! Connections. I recommend stripping all ends for a good connection. Finally screw it into your dashboard!

Pros
  • build quality
Cons
  • functionality

Not as stated in Electrical section

I checked all available horn buttons to make sure I got the one I wanted. I found this with a picture of a mounted horn button on a car dashboard. Apparently it was the larger version in the picture. I needed to know that the button I ordered was one of the larger versions (about the size of a silver dollar). I was adamant that I was going to get this big button and not the smaller version. what did i get fewer! (the size of a nickel). Even the wire was a different color than what was…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
