Type of review

This belt isn't fashionable, but I didn't want it. It's plain, simple, and thin so it doesn't leave a large bulge under the shirt like a regular belt buckle does. It's great for supporting your pants but has stretch when you move/bend over. I'm a painter and without a belt it's like I'm pulling my jeans up all the time! But when I wear a regular belt, it digs into my stomach when I bend forward. This belt is great for that! I even use it on my jeans that are tight around the hips but have a…

All is well. best among women

I hate the fact that my regular belt "looks" like a big bulky object under tops! I was so excited when I found this "invisible belt". I've read reviews and read one that showed a picture and said she could see it. Other reviews find the belt excellent. I thought I'd try. Now that's AMAZING. When you position the buckle over the button of your pants where it should be, it really sticks out and isn't invisible at all! But I made a compromise, and since I wear shirts over pants, I center the…

Great buy for women

This is a very comfortable belt which I chose in navy over what its competitor offered because their navy was labeled 'denim' which can be anything from dark to new , newly painted. Jeans to the faded blue of heavily worn jeans. It's dark, but not as dark as the background of my Lee Women's Midrise Fit Essential Chino Short, Spring Blossom, 10 pant, which I recently bought here thinking their floral colors were printed on black. The belt still looks good, but I think you must have an almost…

Avoid the dreaded "plumbing crack " even if you're a girl.

Reasons why I bought this belt: 1. I'm short, chubby, old, have no buttocks and refuse to wear stretchy polyester "granny pants".2. Tired of buying t-shirts only to see holes (which grow exponentially larger) when they first put them on due to the friction of turning the metal buckle and grommets inside out. If I were a toothpick I wouldn't have a problem with it, but unfortunately I'm normal and grateful. Got it 4 days ago and wear it all day every day and so far I love it. I say so far…

They work as described.

I am a plus-size person who has recently lost some weight but not enough to qualify for a size down. However, most of my pants are about 4 inches larger at the waist, so I have to wear a belt to comfortably keep them where I need them so I don't constantly pull them up. Unfortunately, traditional leather belts just don't help. They are uncompromising and make me feel like a sausage tied in the middle. Also, metal belt buckles dig into my stomach and stick out from under shirts and blouses. I…

Hallelujah! to ladies

Probably most women experience what I do, which is buying swim trunks that fit well, except for the split at the waist. A leather or other belt that has no elasticity is usually uncomfortable and looks very unflattering, so I went in search of belts with elastic. Unsuccessful in general stores unless I wanted a wide strap. After reading reviews of a number of similar belts, this manufacturer seemed to get better reviews for not being stretchy but being too flimsy/weak. I have to say that I am…

Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

The belt is great but trying to sort through belts like this online has been a real problem. The only name I could see for this type of belt is 'spider belt', although I also came across the women's 'invisible belt' category. Just trying to determine the width of these types of belts is a big challenge as this information is usually not clearly stated in the descriptions. For reference, this size is exactly 1.58" on the plastic buckle and 1.18" on the stretchiest fabric. I liked the positive…

Nice basic belt - accessory

I bought this belt as a quick replacement for my old belt which was torn so bad it would buckle and kept coming off. There is also a specific new belt that I am planning to purchase but I really like this belt and will continue to use it. It's very comfortable and thanks to its no-hole design, it's more adjustable than my old belt. I have a small waist and usually need ONE more hole than the belt will allow. If you are looking for something spectacular this is not for you. But I like its…
