If you need wedges to apply makeup, this is NOT for you.

I bought these to apply liquid concealer and foundation. The wedges are very porous, so they absorb liquid immediately and only need to be applied very lightly to the face. I've found that I need to use more product and get less coverage. In addition, the application was very difficult because the wedges are too soft. They are not firm enough to apply makeup effectively as they deform in your hands. I am returning this product.

Small, soft and disposable, perfect for mixing, works for me!

Considering the price and quantity they are good. I only use it to blend makeup, especially foundation. I don't use them to apply foundation as I find them too absorbent and I prefer foundation on the face to an applicator. So I apply it with my fingertips and then blend it out with a sponge. I use one side each time so I usually use 2-3 uses of each sponge and then toss it in the bin. I've tried egg shaped applicators but I'm not a fan of them and really prefer to use a new clean sponge…

As soon as the liquid comes into contact with the sponge, it immediately swells and doubles in size. Every now and then the sponge will start to fall apart immediately. I bought some artificial sponges and use them to paint my reborns. When the sponge was used to soak up and mix up excess paint, the sponge left bits all over the door and had to be redone where the sponge…
