I bought these to apply liquid concealer and foundation. The wedges are very porous, so they absorb liquid immediately and only need to be applied very lightly to the face. I've found that I need to use more product and get less coverage. In addition, the application was very difficult because the wedges are too soft. They are not firm enough to apply makeup effectively as they deform in your hands. I am returning this product.

Considering the price and quantity they are good. I only use it to blend makeup, especially foundation. I don't use them to apply foundation as I find them too absorbent and I prefer foundation on the face to an applicator. So I apply it with my fingertips and then blend it out with a sponge. I use one side each time so I usually use 2-3 uses of each sponge and then toss it in the bin.
