Good product. However, the product description states that the canvas is stamped. The canvas is not color coded as some might think. It is simply stamped with blue squares to make counting easier when using the chart. (See image) I noticed that the production of all popular snap hook sets stopped stamping colored illustration canvases about 2 years ago. If anyone has a color coded canvas, it's old stock. Bought for a 9 year old boy I look after. He loves to weave so I thought it would make a good gift because the end result will be a pattern, not a pattern like the things he weaves. I see that other people have mentioned that the lines aren't color separated, but I don't see anything special. Colors are easy to distinguish. If you're buying this for a child, they may need help figuring out what color is next, but the chart is easy to follow. Only giving four stars because the yarn isn't as soft
