Arrived Used: Space Heater

Was delivered used and dismantled with earlier carpet fibre. drop of blood. How awful and unsanitary in these pandemic times. Yes, as a doctor I would have known that.

Pros
  • In Stock
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Pleasantly warm, short

Doesn't noticeably warm the room, but leaves a pleasant warmth underfoot. This probably lasted 2 months. There does seem to be some current flowing, but I assume enough heating elements have stopped working for heat build-up to be noticeable.

Pros
  • Don't lose any time
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

does not heat as it should

I bought a competitor's product, Carpet Mate, and this is a much better underfloor heating system as you can feel the carpet really warm under your feet. This product protects the mat from freezing, but it just doesn't have the heating performance that I expected after buying a carpet partner. Sorry guys but you need to increase the thermal factor.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Doesn't work stably.

This carpet heater worked great for about 2 months. I put it in my waterfront home because I have a puppy and the floor just freezes. Now when I turn it on, the light just flashes and the mat doesn't turn on. The instructions say nothing about this. The only thing that works is pulling out the couch, unplugging, and then that seems like a fix for now. Very disappointed.

This heater works great and is a great price

My wife is a physical therapist and works with people, many of whom have to lie on the floor during treatments with her. They used to complain that the ground is very cold in winter. We ordered a blanket warmer and they and their customers say it's amazing, they love it! Aside from working so well, it's a great suggestion for size. and price. The floor in her treatment area is a concrete pad with a vinyl plank (very thin) with a thick carpet underlay and rug and it was always cold until we put…

Best buy in a long time

Imagine it! January 2017 in the San Juan Islands, temperatures below freezing and winds of 30 knots. There is nothing to do but duck down and try to keep warm on the boat while sitting in 45 degree water. I bought a Woo Warmer 3X6 rug (sort of) and put it in the salon. Best buy in a long time. I don't want to leave the salon now. This boat has an air space under the floor and is double skinned, but the floor temperature does not exceed 60 degrees with all heaters running. With a 180-watt Woo…

Watch what it's for!

Calling him "bright" is a bit misleading. I was looking for something to heat the living room. It is actually intended for when the family sits on it with a blanket on their laps, like in the Japanese style of living at a low table. Which is good when my grandchildren come to visit. They're small enough and spend all of their time on the floor so I don't have to worry about them getting cold or drafty in the room when this is on. But I still get cold sitting on the couch on a chilly day. And I…

I like it but there are a few downsides.

I got my first electricity bill with this device today and I was glad that I actually used less electricity than last November, even though it was colder. I think it's because I can sit with my feet on the carpet and warm up, so I'm less likely to crank my thermostat up a few degrees. I have always suffered from terribly cold feet and until now this has not happened. And the cat loves it. Cons: I had an artificial IKEA rug. The heat from the heating pad released some of the carpeting into the…

Good product but give me the low profile power cord version

This item does what it is supposed to do but I have a few comments. I have to say we also have a great RugBuddy heater for our favorite couch rug. I bought this for my office rug and chose the Woo Warmer simply because it was the only product that was the perfect size for our 6x6 office rug. Most of my reservations relate to the controller, which sits in the corner of the mat. First, as you can see in the pictures, it raises the corner of the mat a bit. My personal preference would be to just…
