I won't argue that. This is just to store the selected palette in the studio for a watercolor lesson I attended. It can be marked and the indentations are a good size. I've seen the color run out of them so don't expect to stress them when traveling. There may be a leak.

I love this palette. It's very light, the paint cups give you enough room to get some paint out without having to constantly use the blending zone, and the blending zone is adequate. The price is correct! It's not airtight and I wouldn't put it in a suitcase. The brand listed at the time of purchase was "Workhorse" but the tag said "Bright" on arrival. Definitely a great palette at a great price.

I love the size and thickness of this palette. My only real downside is that I put the wrong kind of paint in it. The fact that the top has holes is not a good thing when you are working with very dry watercolor paint from the tube. I will finalize the colors I uploaded and turn them into a Daniel Smith or M. Graham palette. This really is one of my favorites for size, strength and mixing range!
