Wrangler Fender 2007 2018 Lightweight Aluminum Review

These are 2 pieces glued together. I wish it was only 1 piece. Check the bolts, if they are loose they rattle like crazy. I like their looks.

After replacing the factory fender flares I didn't like the "no fender liner" look. They fit the bill and were reasonably priced and the fit was excellent. I love anything with our flag on it.

The packaging was great and arrived on time, although you do get a QR scan that leads to a YouTube tutorial on how to install Rough Country which is practically useless. I highly recommend this company to create their own manual to show pride in their product. The inner fenders are great for quality and price. Instructions were not included with "my" product. They provided a link to install Rough Country on YouTube but it's useless. The mount is awful, the hardware is cheap and useless for most mounts, the US flag is upside down (that's an offense in my book), flimsy aluminum, and additional hardware/fabrication needed to install and prevent rattles are. if you buy this You'd better have an angle grinder and a drill and expect to paint when you're done.

I bought this product and fortunately checked it for fakes before starting the installation. I have a Jeep Wrangler with 6" lift and 35" tires. The fenders didn't line up with the cutouts on the coils and shocks, and the two-piece assembly left a gap for road debris to get stuck between layers. Aluminum also seemed easy to apply. Completely without instructions. But it didn't take long to figure out how to go and where to go. The flags have the same direction for both sides, so a flag will fly backwards while driving.
