They break easily, best in Triple Square Drive

They are of questionable quality if intended for a percussion pistol. They are rated for 175 lb/ft of torque. The walls are pretty thin and we've cracked quite a few.

Pros
  • Made of alloy steel for strength and durability
Cons
  • Repair

Ideal for observing well covers

Good for opening groundwater observation well covers with single pentagon head screws with a percussion gun when you can't use your well wrench by hand. It's reasonably priced and works well.

Pros
  • Black industrial finish
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Pays for itself from the first use.

Purchased to be able to remove caps on our water shut off valves in our area. If I'm a plumber and need to turn the service on or off, it's easier and cheaper to just do it myself instead of paying the service technician $25 each time.

Pros
  • Overall Length 2"
Cons
  • Some Cons

Works great on manhole covers in small town installations.

I have a house on a private driveway where the city told me the water on the street was turned on. The house had its own entrance and there was one further water extraction. The latch was soft brass, and a pair of channel locks would have rounded the ends (because every flat has a point 180 degrees opposite. It worked.) Perfect for me.

Pros
  • 1/2" drive
Cons
  • The list goes on.
