Can complete 4/5 string polymer lithium battery charge and discharge protection, over current, short circuit, over temperature protection and equalization function. It adopts 4 milliohm ultra-low internal resistance MOS tube, which has low internal resistance and high efficiency. It is suitable for battery pack applications in different fields such as inverters, DC motors, power tools, and solar street lights. Dependable Protection for Automotive Batteries

Based on my observations, this lithium battery protection is a great addition to any car enthusiast's workshop. It effectively prevents overcharging and overheating, ensuring the longevity of my car battery. The compact size and ease of installation make it a convenient choice for any DIYer. However, it comes with a slightly higher price tag compared to other battery protection products in the market.

Acid Etched Components

The chip was acid etched so you can't find it. There is no information on the packaging. As an electrical engineer, I don't like not having specs, but at least I can look up the specs of any chip on cheap Chinese circuit boards. I might even return it. It's all about having PCBs ready for projects. If I can't specify it, I can't use it.

Overrated output current, can't load 20VDC motor. Current over 20A

This 5S Bms is rated for 50A of power, but it hardly allows the Makita brush impact drill to idle at 20A. The over-current protection cuts off the power supply when I try to charge it. Now I only use this BMS for charging, my new 5S battery can handle over 140 amps of output power. So now the output is connected directly to the negative battery and it works great with all my cordless power tools.
