Works well - keyboards, mice and accessories

I have a very similar Logitech keyboard that I have used for many years. I bought this keyboard because I connected two hard drives. The reason I have two is because I was so frustrated with Windows 10 and am now using Windows 7 again. Surprisingly, my Windows 10 works better with this keyboard.?. I'm not sure I can say with certainty that this keyboard really makes a difference. I'm a writer and I use it for several hours a day. I had it for about a month. So far this is a winner. The keys are

Great keyboard!

Overall, this is a quality keyboard. A great addition is the palm rest on the bottom. Fast connection to my computer. When you first start using the keyboard again, sometimes some letters don't work right away but start working within a few seconds. Recommend!

A piece of junk in computer accessories and peripherals

If you don't like disappointment, avoid this keyboard at all costs! I ordered one and installed it. It worked fine for about 3 days and then suddenly every few seconds it stopped being recognized by my system. Basically, it would "recognize" and then immediately turn itself off (thus unusable). Changed, received a replacement after 3 days. It also worked fine for a few days but now it loses signal intermittently. So every third or fourth letter I type isn't processed, meaning nothing can be…

Some important notes

The palm rest is a bit small, but otherwise this keyboard was perfect for me. Or at least it would be if it weren't for the R key, which is a little less responsive than the rest of the keys as it requires significantly more pressure to register. It's pretty minor, but it's definitely annoying. I also like the solid but not too loud key sound as I use it at work, that's important to me.

Pros
  • Comfortable

  • Somewhat serviceable

Everything seemed fine at first...

I like that it has a low profile, works out of the box with a AAA battery and USB dongle (included), and the buttons click well. I realized I wanted the keys to be almost silent so I could write notes while on the phone, and I wish the keystrokes were a little shorter. However, I have found that my wireless mouse lags when I lightly hold my finger on the buttons (not press down). Very strange since I don't actually press any keys. My mouse is connected through another dongle that looks like a…

Don't order this keyboard if you want to type with it!

I ordered this keyboard to replace another broken one. It's been about 2 weeks and I've already ordered a new replacement. This keyboard is TERRIBLE when you really want to type. You have to press the buttons about 15 times for them to even register. I type a lot during the day and it literally slows me down. If you're ordering this for everyday use - don't do it! I would love to hear reviews saying the same thing.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Terrible performance on Linux

I can't tell if the problems I've had are general or just related to using it on Linux because I haven't tried it on Windows. It continued to send control key codes without even pressing a button. This messed up my mouse input due to the resulting garbage. I've been scratching my head for weeks because it was causing issues not usually related to the keyboard. Once I pulled it out of the mix everything worked as expected. I tried it on 3 different Linux boxes with different desktops. Everyone…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are errors
