Xbox 360 Data Transfer Cable Review

Manufactured exactly as described. Connected to original Xbox 360 250GB hard drive and was able to transfer all data to Xbox 360 Slim. It was around 116 gigabytes of data and took quite a long time, but it worked great with no issues and prompts appeared once Asia connected.

I used this to transfer data from my original 20GB XBox 360 HD to a new 320GB. This worked great, and the OS has long included transfer software so you don't have to use the CD that came with it. The XBox will show you a popup that it has found a transfer cable and then ask what you want to do. Youtube has videos to help you complete the transfer.

Not wanting to lose any information moving my Xbox from 20GB to 320GB I tried to follow the instructions that came with this kit. The instructions specifically remind you to use the supplied CD. When I inserted it, the Xbox wouldn't read the disc, although it looked clean with no scratches or other obvious damage. After a few attempts to use the CD, I just plugged in the cable.
