Do not do that! on Auto & Vehicle Electronics

If you want to cruise around Boston Ma in a 26ft panel truck while your trucker's GPS says you're looking for service or the route isn't available, this is your kind of GPS. An absolute nightmare. Came back and never looked back. Looked nice and shiny, but it's a piece of shit

These affordable GPS units are always a hit. You need to join the facebook group, get accepted and then send a LINK to new map updates. THIS IS FUNNY 2. The battery life is a joke.3. The volume is too low to hear announcements.4. Customer support is mostly non-existent.5. You will typically find maps from Tom Tom and other providers mixed up, as if copied from other devices.6. IT DOESN'T HAVE SOME FEATURES THAT HIGH-END DEVICES HAVE.

I have been a truck driver for 7 years now. I have all the leading brands of truck stop GPS modules. This XGODY is by far the best for what I do. The price is amazing, I highly recommend all truckers to buy 1. You customize the routes to your liking, this didn't lead me to a low bridge or dead end although it's not ideal but with common sense you'll love it. If you have an atlas, it makes up for what the device lacks. In general, I've never used my atlas unless I planned a gym in advance lol.

UPDATE GOS! - Automotive and automotive electronics

No more happy campers. At first the GPS worked great. Gets great directions as good as or better than my Rand McNally. Never had a problem until it was shut down and restarted about 2 weeks ago.
