Very frustrating, I can't connect to bluetooth. Useless garbage!

I spent an hour trying to get this thing to connect to three different android bluetooth devices. None of them work. Sometimes it connects via bluetooth but as soon as you try to connect to the car via the app it says the bluetooth connection has been lost. It's a piece of junk!

This obd2 is amazing! So much information I can even see transmission and airbag information!

I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It has a very solid construction, the application is seamless. I have a 2008 Maxima and had some electrical issues and it turned out they both had front airbags. I used FIXD obd2 with another app but it didn't give me more than a few codes, this kid plugged in and bam! Got everything else I needed. Love how you can only diagnose one thing at a time! Money well spent and definitely recommended.

Not for me, but good for patients

The great thing is that this really is a "FREE" bi-directional scanner. No monthly or annual subscription. The amount of control you will have depends on the vehicle, so take into account the year and type of your vehicle. You don't get much from a 2003 Kia Rio because there's nothing in it! Why I didn't save it is because the app you are using is complete junk. When you activate the driver it takes about 2-3 minutes to respond and the live data is like you are watching something at 5 frames…

Great tool with high end features and AMAZING customer support

I've been fixing my cars with and without a scanner for years. With the latest technology built into the latest models, diagnosis can be difficult without a high-end scan tool that costs between $800 and $1,000. Look no further. Excellent bi-directional OE diagnostic scanner for DIY repairs with decent app

The Xtool A30D scanner can do advanced OE level diagnostics but at a price only slightly higher than a basic universal OBD2 code reader. If you are a DIY auto repair shop or small workshop, read on.
