I bought this to replace the bit that came with the Ryobi Door Hinge Tool. The club is very sharp and quickly cuts through the door panels. When I assembled the first hinge I noticed that the cut out area was too large. I immediately looked at the conductor and there was a small gap brought out from the sides. It doesn't look like it, but the bearing should be slightly smaller than the cutter.

I needed to replace a rotting frame on my front door and chose the Menards PVC frame kit. I had to cut the hinges and latches on the frame. I made my own attachment out of 1/2 plywood (trace and cut out the loop). First I made a test cut on the remaining piece of PVC. I was trying to cut a Dado out of 23/32 inch thick plywood and the picture shows the result. slot of this bit. It's so bad I couldn't use it. At right is a clean cut from a Bosch bit (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B084DXN73X). I finished my project with a Bosch bit and it's great. The yellow ceramic coating disappeared on first use. It's hardly worth sending back, but definitely don't use it.

I used this to cut three large grooves in a slab of cherry wood with a living edge for a mantel. I had no problems with the bit. It is AMAZING value for money. However, towards the end I noticed that a significant amount of the powder coating had chipped off, so I'm not sure how long it will last after multiple uses. Luckily I don't chisel.
