This thermometer was easy to read and use, the magnet on it came in handy but I wish it was a little stronger, it doesn't hold the diagonal of the thermometer when it sticks to the surface, that The weight of the device ensured that the thermometer stood upright at all times.

Take the guesswork out of cooking! I love it! I highly recommend buying it! I have older versions of this that I've been using for years, it's much nicer and easier to read. The added bonus of a cable to use on your grill is awesome!

I bought this for my husband because he broke his little round one which is very flimsy. He said he LOVES THIS one, thanks to me for getting it for him. Haven't used it with an oven probe yet but love it when grilling or meat on a pan or stovetop. He said to make him strike an easy deal again and get some backup.

So far so good! I made the most amazing beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner and it was great not having to set a timer but being able to see the real time oven temp with the extension and set an alarm to let me know when it was done. Everyone was excited! I've since used it several times on chicken and beef and it's just what I wanted.

Inform immediately that you have been digesting food for many years. Other thermometers are slow and the food cools the meat and long pins so the temperature is off. Plus, the extra probe is great for smoking or slow grilling. I love both probes very much, they are very comfortable. Stop buying old gauges with big plugs full of junk and it was cheaper than any I've had.

Easy to use precision system that you can either quickly remove from the appliance itself or use a probe you can plug into it and leave the appliance on a shelf next to the stove. I haven't used all of its features since I got it not long ago. I bought a more expensive one that died after one use. I had a similar one but it wore out during use so I bought this one. I like it.

I got this out of curiosity to see how it compares to my +2x more expensive (and "certified" calibrated) Thermapen MK4. I was pleasantly surprised to find that in several tests they read exactly the same or within 1-2 degrees of each other (a difference well explained by the actual temperature difference of where they are in the test environment can be). Update: The second one I ordered had the same problem. The flexible cable probe is not waterproof. This is the third digital thermometer I've tried in the last month. The first two didn't fit at all and I sent them back via Revain with no problems. I ordered this one and the initial setup was easy and I was glad to be able to calibrate it. I make cheese and it's important to me to see the exact temperature. It had the features I needed for this purpose, especially with the flexible wire probe…
