After about a week the plastic broke and the springs around the plastic started to loosen. The product works very well on everything but pure ice. The packaging says not to use indoors. I almost collapsed on the tile floor in my office lobby. I tried to save myself from the ice and snow on the sidewalks, but then almost fell inside, it would have been an ego blow. I just wish they were more durable other than they work great.

I bought these boots after a big snow storm in New York. I'm tired of slipping on snow and ice with hiking boots. Despite having a grooved sole, there was no traction with the rubber on ice or snow. I ordered these puppies and they match my shoes perfectly. I wear size 12 and the size fits me. The large size is designed to fit a variety of sizes.
