New Formula Yardley of London Lily of the Valley Perfumed Talc, 7 Oz, Made in England Review

This is my second jar of Yardley Lily of the Valley powder. first bought in a department store. I love Lily-of-the-Valley and was excited to see it on Revain. It doesn't smell like lily of the valley at all, not even a little bit. It's not even a pleasant scent! The lid is fitted with an orange plastic cap that must be removed when in use, it is very difficult to remove and the perforated lid will not close when rotated. Thought we would buy these shake jars (as shown in the picture) which would make it easier to use on my back etc but in fact, 2 round cardboard tubes with powder puffs came. It's not what we ordered but it would be harder to send them back so we use them with puffs (while feeling like Zsa Zsa Gabor :) and will order elsewhere if we need more.

I have always loved Yardley products but they are hard to find locally. When I found this powder online I was very happy and to top it off this seller has all the options available (some flavors I've never seen before). I was so satisfied and the price matches this product. Yes I will be ordering more powders and can't wait to try some of the new flavors that I have never seen before. Thumbs up for this product.

This summer I bought Yardley Talcum Powder in three different flavors. Lily of the valley is the most pleasant. While it doesn't have a true lily-of-the-valley flavor, it resembles it and is pleasantly sweet. Talc is good on a hot day or after a shower. Remember, never use it on the vaginal area.

It was based on heavy tones of baby powder mixed with a soft lily of the valley scent. Very disappointing as I love the tried and true lily of the valley powder. Avoid the "New Formula" version - it's not the same. I will be buying a few cans of the original powder to put away before it's gone forever. And that has no return either.
