🀄 Dominoes Accessory by Yellow Mountain Imports Review

We liked this accessory with one caveat: the dominoes purchased are slightly larger than the cavity at the top of the "station". This is a small complaint but it keeps me from giving this accessory 5 stars. The engines are made of metal and strong, the "station" made of wood. With one exception that I mentioned, this is a well built and high quality product.

I really enjoy playing Mexican Train, but the original piece of plastic that served as the hub was brittle and came off easily; However, this complement is perfect. The tiles fit perfectly in the slot, are heavy enough to stay in place and won't go unnoticed when you put the game away. The metal engines are well detailed and remain upright. None of these details are essential to the game, but they certainly enhance the game's aesthetics. Love it!

That's a good idea but the hub I just got looks like it was hit by a truck and has tire marks halfway down the part. If I can get a hub that is well made and looks good, I keep it to myself. I need to update my original estimate. I placed another order and the hub, metal cables and scorecard liner were top notch. It actually looks handmade. Wood has texture and I'm sure it will improve the game in the future.

This is a pretty decent Mexican train domino, if not very pretty. I bought my dominoes from Target and they go well with this hub. I bought Cardinals Mexican Train Dominoes (1 SET) from Target." The set came with dominoes and 8 plastic trains. It was a compromise, but works well if you're not very picky. I hope this helps those who were disappointed that their dominoes didn't fit in that railroad junction.

I bought this set when my kids started playing dominoes. I argued for a while because it seemed too expensive for something I thought was cheaply made and would break easily.
