Sewing foot change

Game Changer. The machine always fed the face fabric less than the back fabric, so it was always uneven. Now it's much smoother!

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted

Didn't fit Singer

Didn't fit Singer 3333 - not centered on needle. Otherwise it installs easily, but I personally need to center it!

Pros
  • Handsfree Kit
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

breaks apart

I wanted to start quilting so I bought this walking foot as a trial run, not the most expensive but definitely strong enough to quilt a 30X36 inch quilt. Not as much. The pin kept popping out and I had to stop my project to put it back in. Because it was a kind of purchase, "don't overspend until you see if you like it". I can't really complain. If you're looking for a replacement and you're quilting a lot, remember you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • This adjustable guide attaches to the back of the walking foot to sew evenly spaced parallel rows
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Fragile and noisy

My current walking foot didn't have a pad so I bought this one. I installed this Brother correctly and even though it was properly latched the case still wobbled like it wasn't properly attached to the clamp bar inside the machine. When I tried to sew with it, it vibrated and made noises. So much so that the spacer didn't stay where it was supposed to be. I've been using a walking leg regularly for years - I know how to set it up and use it and what to expect. It should be absolutely stable and

Pros
  • Unique open toe design for better visibility when quilting and sewing together
Cons
  • No power

Works, but very noisy and hoarse.

Works. It's easy to install. The large space makes it easy to use multiple types of stitches. It looks durable. It is not as good as from the manufacturer. I have one and they look the same but don't sound the same. It sounds like a choo choo train. click click If I drive too fast, everything goes wrong. The singer's walking foot is smoother and quieter. No click. However, this is about half the cost of a Singer walking leg. If you plan on using it frequently, it's worth spending the extra…

  • Fits all low shank sewing machines (top load bobbins only) Singer, Brother, Babylock, Euro-Pro, Janome, Kenmore, White, Juki, New Home, Simplicity, Necchi and Elna
Cons
  • Available in black only
