The panels do not have a smooth surface.

These sheets are not coated over mesh so they are more likely to leave a mesh pattern on ironed garments. For some clickable elements, this may not matter. I press old messages and they distort the grid. They are mostly sold before being coated during production. I have a feeling that they are therefore unfinished. I've bought others that are covered so I'll have to shop around a bit more. More reeds sounded good, but not in my case. Can't tell until I see/feel them.

Pros
  • Paper and Craft Paper
Cons
  • Troublesome

Not moisture resistant on paper

I bought it in October and only now got around to trying it. I don't like them, I would rather pay the extra money for other craft rugs even if they are smaller. One of the promotional images shows what I believe to be pearl water. I don't know what they put on it before taking the picture, but the water doesn't drip, it just runs through! I'm glad I jumped right in to clean it up as EVERYTHING went straight through the carpet and onto my countertop!

Pros
  • ✓100% non-stick Teflon ironing sheet lets you work in peace - no mess from hot glue, ink, paint. Use a heat press for vinyl heat transfer, dye sublimation, transfer, etc. You will need a protective layer to keep the vinyl from sticking to the hot plate. They're great for that.
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

A must-have for pounders and artisans.

I used to buy individual heat resistant fake sheets for more than six sheets. I cut some in half for use on small areas. They are ideal for protecting surfaces when working with alcohol inks. I also use them to protect my work station from the heat from my Ranger heat tool when embossing with a rubber stamp. It also provides an easy way to return excess embossing powder to the container. BTW I have no idea how to use them with my hardware. Craft beats home life every day.

Pros
  • ✓ DURABLE 5MM THICK withstands temperatures up to 600 degrees, Teflon sheets absorb some heat. For many applications you need a fairly constant temperature, especially for dye sublimation.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I tried these sheets for a bookbinding project where I needed to protect the pages from the gluing process and it worked great, the glue didn't bleed and the sheet came off the dried glue without sticking. I have yet to test it for another project that uses a heat tool with a miniature "iron" to melt enough plastic to smooth it out. I don't expect any issues based on what I've seen so far, but will update my review after my experiment.

Pros
  • ✓MULTIPURPOSE PRODUCT: PTFE sheet can be used as a grill mat, non-stick oven liner, iron to protect clothes, heat press, paint and other crafts.
Cons
  • Doubtful
